The HeadacheA Poem by andrew mitchell
Swerving recklessly
A thought drunk. Going too fast, too fast; No brakes! "IS TROUBLE! " Can a thought be In the wrong place? Where it shouldn't be? Is a headache an accident By two thoughts crashing Head on? One wounded, one a fatality Crashed on cranial walls. Or crashed in mid-air; Being light-headed. Still the headache remains Are the party of thoughts still drinking? Turn the music down! Lights out at twelve.
