Its started!A Poem by andrew mitchell
They say "If the meek will inherit the Earth."
It has started! There are millipedes at my door Aunts and uncles Cousins and nieces With their belongings All waiting, crowding Jumping the queue. Then a bus-load of tourists Rock up! The cockroaches But the speed traps are in place By the spiders on patrol, who pick em off; One at a time; they hate queue jumpers! Pushing and shoving some are crushed; The red cross ants in rows March through crowded streets Taking carcasses away. Deaths arising, a riot building, restless, impatient Waiting to move in! They push, push! Until they see ...high in the sky Foreboding, menacing, red A monument of Life versus death. Calm and control restored The crowd, once excited, stops.. Hurriedly disperses in fear. The line has been drawn The can of insecticide Firmly planted For all to see!! The Owner speaks: "Run you little critters!! Run! Run!!" " You won't inherit this little piece..... well not yet!" Psychotic laughter echoes through A twisted grin, a crimson smile. A smirk of display on red can's sprays!! Whooosh! whoosh!!
