Before I forget!A Poem by andrew mitchell
When getting old, one forgets.
"Where are my car keys?" "Where did I put my glasses?" One forgets! One even forgets on forgots! Like today I came into a room for something. On entering I forgot. Now becoming forgotten While I forget. We forget the forgotten In our minds we find What we forgot! Sometimes we can't forget What should be forgotten. While more importantly Something we hold close We forget! We forget On the forgotten We forget On the forgot! And I was going to say something else now But I forgot!! Because I forget And now.... its forgotten!...... I forgot!.....I forget!
