Home Delivery

A Poem by andrew mitchell

My thoughts
Wrapped tightly
In rolls, in plastic.

I deliver with speed,
My push-bike.
Some thoughts;
Wayward I throw
On trees, footpaths.

Others, delivered
Accurately perfected;
My thoughts I offer;
Your door.

You gather,
You open,
You stop,
You read.

Some delivered:
I'm chased; your dog
Barking, growling.
"Do not enter!"

I ride pass.. quickly
My thoughts I deliver.....
A clause, If not happy;
" Return to sender!"

Hi Andrew. got just one question, my friend!! how many of your thoughts have been returned . . . without a laugh and best wishes!!!!!!!!!!! My guess???? NONE!!! Your thoughts are too precious to give back. Once you share them with me, they're mine!!!!!!!!!!!!! alf
