In Her Web

In Her Web

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Caught in my Lover's web
Her feet on the march
Gossamers threads.
Tremors travels
On tightropes fast.

The noose tightens
My breath gasps
A slave to love;
She's having me.......
For dinner tonight.

Drawn by appetite
Engulfed am I
She tugs,
Tighter, pulling
My heart strings;
I'm her dinner tonight.

Awaken from
Night's slumber
I find my face
Covered, smothered
My feline friend.
A nightmare... no more.

Thank you Julia and for dropping by. Nice to meet you:)
Sometimes it is ever so enthralling to think about being eaten, that the actual act if not performed well, will be anticlimactic!

Haha

Oh, to be caught in that web...must be very enticing, for both the hunter and the prey.
