Just a minute! Coming!

Just a minute! Coming!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

                                                    As the sun rises...
Yes! I'll get the kids dressed.
                                                    As the sun  rises....
Yes Honey! I'll  polish their shoes and make breakfast.
As the sun  rises reaches midmorning...
Yes Honey! Give me a minute! I'll mow the lawns!
At midday the sun above rises.....
Yes Dear! Just a minute! Thanks for making lunch!
                                                    As the sun rises drops......
Yes! I'm getting dinner on in a minute!
                                                    As the sun rises sunsets.....
Yes Babe! I'll run their bath soon!
                                                    As the sun moon rises.....
Yes Honey! I won't forget to put the bins out.
                                                   My Thoughts
                                                        having
                                                        dressed
                                                        polished
                                                        breakfast
                                                        lunch
                                                        dinner
                                                        bathed.
                                                         Ready
                                                           for
                                                           the
                                                           bin.

                                                     As the sun rises.........
                                                                               tomorrow!!

Thank you Vishudda
I enjoyed this conversational poem between you, your thoughts and your wife... the little interruptions in a writer's life cause us to take our scrambled thoughts sometimes to the bin... I love the form and creativity.

lol thank you LL cheeky as!! lol:)
Did you steal this poem from my day yesterday? ;)

It is often in the middle of those seemingly mundane tasks of life, that we find what live is all about, hey?

I love this "slice-of-life" poetry!

This poem has a lot of potential. Something about this just didn't do it for me. I feel like it's missing something . . .

Overall, nice work!
