How green is your grass?A Poem by andrew mitchellA true story at the Calvary Hospital Adelaide in 1979
There was this girl I knew of
Who had bright green hair. She was a lover of punk, you see And I couldn't help but stare. On having an operation Her appendix in disarray The doctor had noticed; Bright green pubic hair. Tattooed across the top Her pubic hair so green Was a sign: "Keep off the grass!" After the operation All was very well The doctor saw his patient To tell. "We are all deeply sorry!" "But we had to mow your lawn!"
