When writing....

Hollow are my thoughts

When forced .

In my dam they remain

But on opening my gates

They flow and flow

So fast

I'm unable to catch them.

It's always hard if you try to write, it's like the words are being forced but when the flood gates open and the words start flowing without force, oh boy can you get some great pieces that way!

Hi Andrew. Well, it seems to me, that that table beneath the moon is only ever occupied when the gates are open!!!! Poetry never flows the same when it is "worked", nor does it read well, nor does it garner an audience. You have a talent for taking the axiomatic and delivering it as original thought!!!! Yes writing is difficult if you sit down and try to write. Like forced flowers they just melt away and die.
