HER NAME IS..........

Looking at the horizon

Gold, yellow and red;

Reflecting, shifting

On water's edge.

Her waves motion me

To come in.

She calls me

With soft, pulsating strokes.

She becomes aroused

Crashing on the beach.

She's getting impatient.

I'm drawn to her.

Her waves embrace me

With her every curl

I'm caressed by her coolness

I taste her salty breath.

My every thought washed away

I drift into her arms

Pulling me deeper

I am a rebirth in her womb.

Drawn into her darkness

I see a watery moon

I break her delicate skin

Awash I breath again.

Excited she leaves me;

Her foamy, bubbly rinse.

She's tranquil now.

Back to her old self

Gliding, slow .foreplays

She slides up the shore.

Brushing my ankles once more;

Her little teasing reminder

Come back to me for more.

She winks at me

As if to say goodbye,

Smiling she recoils

To her fullness once more.

Hi Andrew. Wow! Double Wow!! treble WOW!!! I have NEVER seen such an amazing personification of the sea. I cannot, will not . . . take one phrase or line and highlight it. The ultimate! Every line leads right into the next and flows, surges, embroils, recedes and ripples to calm Magnificent, no, truly magnificent. This is what we all aim for!!! alf

Great use of words creating an awesome image. Though I have to admit the line "I'm a rebirth in her womb" kind of scared me almost. I don't know why I dislike this line, but otherwise well crafted write.
