"What are you doing today?" one asks. "Just surfing!" I replied.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Surfing down
The corridors of life
Riding every wave
Admiring the view
An ocean of possibilities
Its all up to you.

A turn here, down there,
Twist here, up there, turn.....
Small wave, big wave,
Many waves confront you;
The challenges of life.

The essence of life
splashes your thoughts
As you fall off, get back on
Riding the waves of time.
You control your destiny;
Guiding your board given.

'Till the wave petters out
Across the shore,
In foamy ripples.
Dead is the breeze
And a life..... no more.

This poem came to mind when I reviewed KWP'S fine works. lol Funny how things evolve from reading!
"Surfing down the corridors of life", "foamy ripples", I take it you love the sea very much. I have never surfed in my life, but I really enjoyed reading this.

Using the sea as a metaphor for life is much appreciated. I hope you surf through all the challenges Andrew
