MISTAKES

MISTAKES

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Shackled thoughts
Chained to walls;
Back recesses of your mind.
Remind you
DON"T DO IT AGAIN.
Guarded by pain
A window your view
Thrown away  the key
Rusted with time.

Hi Andrew. How brilliant is this write??? Loved that 'shackled thoughts chained to walls', so heartlessly true. Once we gain them, they are there, haunting and taunting. yes, heave that key, you don't want to go back. Loved the whole poem and its inner intent, alf

Great write!
wording is superb along with flow
but the message is so strong, I can relate
and love how you expressed it, we all make
mistakes but reminding yourself not to make
it again is smart, great job:).Thanks for sharing

Thank you sereena my friend.
"Shackled thoughts chained to walls" love these lines and it's so true. Once certain thoughts get into our head, they seem to stay forever, constantly taunting us.
Great write Andrew!

I will Vishuddha. I so look forward to your lovely reviews! Thank you!
In the dungeons of our minds lurk all the mistakes we have ever made. The key, as you say, is to view them in order to remind ourselves not to make them again. Nice write!
