JUST TAKE IT, IT'S YOURS FOR NOW

JUST TAKE IT, IT'S YOURS FOR NOW

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When that love comes
Seize it! Take It!
You know it's yours.
Nurture it into a lifetime
Keep the ashes of desire burning.
Let each moment, flower
Into everlasting blooms
That are yours.
Take it! Its yours!
Before its imprisoned,
Stolen by someone else.
I cannot say more
My images of thoughts
Need to continue......

The fleeting nature of love is painted so vividly here. Keep it - but don't imprison it spells out delicate nature of it. This is class Andrew.

And I love the 'real-time' feel of the ending of this - almost as if the writer has just came out of a trance and isnt afraid to share the higher source of their inspiration.

Great write my friend.

Love is a garden. Give it what it needs and you get flowers. Give it what it wants and you have a refuge forever.

Yeah. This is nicely said, especially like the ending of this. And the beginning when you just jump to the point of the whole piece:) Nice job:)

A flowing piece with a hint of vulnerability. The protagonist longs to be loved and has a loving nature that is unfulfilled.

I loved those lines.
I also liked how you told 'take it it's yours before it's stolen by someone else'.

Nice poem.
