In depths of despair

There are no stairs

Stuck in a well

As drips of your tears

Echoes in the well

The silence broken

Your mind just dwells.

So true! When one is depressed, the stairs leading out of depression evilly disappear. Until the time seems right, no amount of talking to others can drag a person out. We have tunnel vision when it comes to dark events in our lives. I liked the rhyming in this one. Good work. Lydi**

So much truth in this. You get in those moments of sadness/depression etc, you get stuck there and dwell, only to drive yourself even more crazy!
A sad but wonderful write.
