MY ESTUARY

MY ESTUARY

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Tears in the eye
A lake could fill
A dam that collects
A river that spilled.

My tears of love
Feelings that grew
Now tears of sadness
Just red eyes blue.

Thank you so much Robert
First of all I liked the title. It could not be more perfect. Also,"A river that spilled."--great line.

I know sometimes less is better but you left me wanting more. I wish you could expand a little..maybe one more stanza. That's just me being greedy of course!

A slice of reading heaven. Thanks for the read.

I like how you used several metaphors to describe the tears. I can say, you are definitely finding your own voice and establishing your style! It is beautiful to see it happen.
