Her blue abyss

Her blue abyss

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

Well played and well laced!

"
You like my blue eyes
Don't you! It's the way you stare
So why don't you come in
Their dilated now, ready for you.
So just dive in. I'll meet you inside
I'll close my eyes, close my door
Have some more wine!
Welcome to my world of blue.

Encircling her eyes, her blue abyss
I'm drawn in, submerged.
I'm falling!
Senses softened, anaesthetised. Something is not right!
Caressed, embraced, her blue abyss
I'm drowning.
Her perfume permeates
I'm losing control I'm drifting. Imprisoned
I'm falling!

Her lips moistened
The pouting fullness
Splashed in red
I'm falling.
A slither of her tongue
Parting her lips
Splashed in red
I'm falling.

Black mascara, eye shadow azure blue
Her eyes framed, her blue abyss
I'm falling
I see a sign "please enter"
Your at Heaven's Gate.

Now removed of my senses
I'm falling in ocean blue
Her lips gorged in red
I'm falling.
Her song of words, no longer heard
I'm falling
Her blue abyss...... has no end.

Rolling in her waves of blue
Submerged , dreaming
Splashes of red
Crashing  eyelashes, parting  lips
Her words in song muffled
I'm falling.

I see signs "Not long now"
Messages floating in blue
"Come inside my parlour
In an ocean azure blue"
I'm falling. I hear voices.

Entangled in her web
Exploring her darkness
Exposed to memories past:
Webs, spiders, flies rush by
Entrapment, submerged , confused,
Her words "Come inside" "Come with me"
"All is fine enjoy the view."

I awaken in my hotel room
Clothes on the floor
From cupboards , wardrobes left bare.
My wallet, watch missing
All I remember,
I'm falling , blue eyes
Caressed by her voice
" Come with me"
                     "Come inside my blue abyss."

and a thumping headache.

You were falling indeed... A full moon alluring poem that empties the senses pockets and spits you dry on the shore with a hangover. :) I really enjoyed reading this. The woman was described perfectly fine and the repetition helped build in the anticipation and described well the physical conditions.
A thrilling ride. :)

This is based on a true story about a neighbour called Peter who as a child I grew up with and he told me this story when he visited Rio Janeiro in his twenties. He was approached by a woman at a bar only to wake up in his hotel room and passport, money , and his watch were all gone

I liked the repetition here - it builds the anticipation and poem really pulls you in. Be careful of those man eaters (that's what the woman sounds like to me lol).

Very fine imagery, excellent flow!
Stay away from women like this! Man eaters is what they are, a dangerous breed.
