THE LIFE OF A CANDLE

THE LIFE OF A CANDLE

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

A take two on my enjoyment being entranced by a candle burning all alone in the dark before I combined the two. i prefer them separate I think.

"
The life of a candle
Burning so bright
Giving aid to those
From that wick of light.
Dancing so gently
Its softness swirls
To currents of air,
Its fragility exposed.
Playing with darkness
Flickering in the night
In an ocean of blackness
A small taper of light.
