WE FORGET WE'RE MORTAL

WE FORGET WE'RE MORTAL

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While the tombstone marks a plot of ground
Always placed behind the mound
A resting place for all to see
Where people gather one, two, three.
To pay respects to those so dear,
Never forgotten always near,
And even though a life has passed.
The deceased would say "celebrate Life"
We forget we're mortal ......... nothing lasts!

This says it all doesn't it. Life on earth ends, and if we believe...we go on to be with Jesus in Heaven. I look forward to going there. Valentine

only the memories, but one day we will all begin again,
and this time without end.
