A BLIND EYE

A BLIND EYE

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Questions! Answers!
We do seek
Do you love me?
Are we for keeps?
Questions! Answers!
To be asked
While uncertainty takes its grasp.
Questions! Answers!
As you look around,
Cracks appearing all profound,
To see a love .....
..crumbling to the ground.
Questions! Answers!
Of an unsettling kind
About a relationship in decline.
Questions! Answers!
I don't want to hear
Maybe a change in weather will remove my fear.
Questions! Answers!
What went wrong?
I don't understand, now its gone.
Questions! Answers!
The writing was on the wall
And I had no idea .....
There was a problem at all.
