THE LUGGAGE ONE KEEPS

THE LUGGAGE ONE KEEPS

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A moment in time
I remember so clear
Like a ghost that haunts
It comes and disappears.
Now a chapter in time
Yet it seems so close
I reach out to touch
It fades and is lost.
A moment that's past
Fragmented in time
Located somewhere
In the back of my mind.
To bring back to life
So near yet so far
Like trying to reach
That far away star.
Wandering and lingering
Through my mind's door
A moment worth embracing
And how i want more.
