A SHADOW OF MEA Poem by andrew mitchell
There's no-one around me
I'm all on my own Except a shadow of me Covering the ground: And bonded together Wandering around With my shadow of me Marking the ground. I hear myself think In silent surrounds While that shadow of me Never makes a sound. A follower of me This shadow of mine 'till I become in the end A shadow with time.
