Hello my dear friend. Many poems about our shadow. Andrew, if we lose our shadow. Did we lose a part of us? Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Oh that's cool Andrew. I wasn't looking out for that as such.
andrew mitchell,
"A SHADOW OF ME" Do we at times take ourselves to seriously.? I can only speak for myself. "I hear myself think in silent surrounds."
This poem about the reality of a shadow being our constant companion is a clue to our shadow-land existence. "Shadow of me covering the ground." and "Bonded together, wandering around."
We are like a breath or a shadow. "till I become in the end a shadow with time."
This life is the preliminary to an everlasting reality and sometimes just shadow-lands.
Thanks for a great poem.
Bless you.
Kathy.

Blessings coming your way I hope.

Again stumbled upon an amazing write, I love the subtle rhyme scheme in this one. The flow here in this poem is excellent. Your repetitions of the phrase "shadow of me" is not jarring. The imagery you invoke and the way you have expressed shadow is quite the treat for a reader like myself. I like it much ^^ Thank you for sharing ^^
this is beautiful !!!
In silent surrounds
While that shadow of me
Never makes a sound.
A follower of me
This shadow of mine
'till I become in the end
A shadow with time.
love this one !!!!!
101 points from me
keep up the good work !!!
This is great...bears to mind, me, and my shadddoww, but in a dark a twisted manner. a feeling of being stalked by it a bit. The end ties it up perfectly too.

Shadows are a great topic to write about for they possess real magic, the power of nothing. Shadows can conceal or reveal, duplicate, complicate, there is no limit to their power so endless possibilities to write about. It was a pleasure to read, now off to your next poem :~)
This is great, my favorite so far of your's. It has a strong tone and the closing metaphor is beautiful.
I've been looking for inspiration. I think I will write about shadows.
You have 45 pages of writings.......... Your keyboard is begging for some time off. Haha

All the members' writing was deleted. there was a "restore writing" clicky-thing, but at that time instead of the Top Reviewers we had Top Writers and to be a top writer, all you needed was a bunch of good reviews; so, while the more established writers were restoring their works, some friends and I formed a cabal to seize those Top Writers spots by republishing our writing; which allowed us to rereview eachother's work. We held top spots for a week or two, then lost interest. I do have a photo I took at that time, showing me as Top Writer. It's in the photos on my profile. I started writing this with the idea of saying, "hey man, back up your writing. This place an get buggy", but ya, I screwed that up. :)
Gosh this is a little somber for you my antipodean cobber! It expresses that feeling of dissociation and detachment from ourselves we sometimes feel in our lives. One suggestion would be to change the last line to 'a shadow in time?
