Perspective of a Child

Perspective of a Child

A Poem by Aaliyah
"

A poem in a child's Perpective

"

I’m playing out in my front yard,

and mommy calls me in for dinner

Running into my house, covered in grass stains.

Putting my shoes in the closet,

I run upstairs to go take the bath that mommy made for me

Finish, put my PJ’s on and head down

In the kitchen mommy’s cooking dinner

Daddy watching football in the living room

Sister’s playing with her dolls on the floor

My typical, simple  family

This is a wonderful poem of a child's perspective of a house. The poem is well written and well thought out.
