All too ClearA Poem by A.A
He hears everything,
Sees everything, But pretends its a story, Unreal and quiet. It plays before him, A life built around it, Everyday anew, But the same. With his youth, He hides, Behind innocents, Innocent to the eyes of old, To him, All too clear. He sees it, He sees the truth behind lies, An illusion to all, Nothing is hidden, The path is winding, To him, All too clear. But he hides, Hides what he sees, What he hears, What he knows, And they see magic. It is unclear to the safe, But a burden to him. © 2014 A.A |
