Spinning

Spinning

A Poem by A.A

Our world spins,
Balancing good and evil,
We spin with it,
Our hopes and dreams,
Our lives spin,
Our lives spin from our grasp,
Spinning into beauty and life,
Spinning into darkness and sorrow,
It spins in an endless cycle

Dancing with elegance,
Enjoying the view,
Watching our struggles and downfalls,
Watching our up rise and freedom,
It spins

Drawing us in to a lasting prison,
This prison of heaven and hell,
We spin

Our fate spins until we stops,
Stopping when the last breath is breathed,
Until our hearts beat no longer,
Until the dazzling light fades from our eyes,
Until our minds stop imagining,
Until our fingers catch the end of the rope

i like the imagery in this and the use of repetition, especially in the last 4 lines. also, the idea that heaven and hell are prisons is an interesting concept. well done.
