ROOFTOP WRITINGA Poem by Aziz LutherTHE REAL VILLAIN SERIES. Inspired by Linkin Park recently released single "Lost"
I go places, but I'm a place holder
Carrying too much for these broad shoulders Singing the hymns of the withering soldier I understand mother's pain now that I'm little older The sun shines brighter, but the feelings have gotten colder I wish I could fall, but I'm a high roller I wish it could snow, so I can sleep in the warmth Maybe get awoken by a jolt, and I'm a goner no more These are the rumblings of a broken man Love left the letter sent torn from the other side Now I'm pondering who I am Why I hear screams from the other side These dreams always coincide with the nightmare I hold inside Constantly watching the road to my demise, like I took a walk into the night Now I'm lost in my own mind, trying hard to hit rewind Trying harder to remember the way back home, but only the darkness comes in mind
