Love as a Foreign Language

Love as a Foreign Language

A Poem by Aziz Luther
"

what the family dreams of you becoming in the future and making sure you don't stray what does the heart have to say about that?

"
I'm chasing your dreams just to put a smile in your face,
Just to send you to that happy place,
I'm tearing myself apart.
And yet more you want, more you take,
I cannot let blood turn cold.
Especially as that blood turns old.
I guess I'm the type you walk all over,
Forgive me if I never call.

Love is a foreign mistress I once knew
We might have felt it a time or two
But you knew, when I walked out
I was never coming about
and since i can never say it to your face
I'll let you know through the interwebs

I'm still chasing your dreams,
With a sad smile on my face.
I still aim to please
Maybe I can never find love in this foreign place

Love You.

You write really terrific themes. But your poetic meter is difficult to impossible to find.

Thanks. And yes I agree with you this was a bit rushed but I'll be updating it soon.
