What They Had Said About LoveA Poem by Aziz Lutherof lovers regrets, love is a ***** deepending on how you see it :)
What I heard about her was beautiful.
I couldn't wait to meet her in person. She seemed like forever youthful, And I was waiting 'till the day They said she listened, And many words I had to say. They said she was like works of fiction, Only she was exactly what they said. She was a miracle in some circles, A shot to happiness for others, Yet my imagination wondered, What she would be like once we meet each other. In the dark, I met love. She was pale, frail and shook feverishly, She was an ill-fated, illustration of doom, She was Death no one knew. And I'd have refuted if not formerly introduced, Hello my name is love, I'm here to take you in, Swallow you whole, raise you up, Just to let you fall with me, And without me I let you go, And become misery, Love me now, love me more, Never less until all your feelings go, With the wind like ashes to sea, Fall in love with me and become me, So when I leave let the emptiness be, Let the winter becoming your heat, Fall so you can never be. © 2014 Aziz LutherAuthor's Note
