Needless to say

Needless to say

A Poem by Aziz Luther

I often forget the words because I choose to
I often don't remember because I refuse to
The merry songs I sing may amuse you
But the happy rhythm hides the clues to....

I ink down the words on paper
Scream on the pillow and hope not to remember
I fell for the love of my life on sweet September
But the love of my life will love me never

Fall, falling down crashed by stone
Me, stuck in early winters all alone
I look for a place I belong
Before my veins are iced and my heart grows cold

I hope October picks up the phone
Because somewhere in the fall I was drawn
In the deepest hole I've fallen
My happy cold life was swiftly stolen

I originally meant for it to be longer but I ran out out of words. Thanks for the review.
