Letter No. 22

Letter No. 22

A Poem by Aziz Luther
"

Lady Jaye

"

I should write you a love song,
Something good and elegant
Something that matches the color of your skin
The brightness of your eyes and that depicts your smile
I wish I could just paint you like a Mona Lisa but I couldn't even if I tried

You are so perfect, so complicated but yet simple
Up in the clouds yet down to the ground
You are so, beautiful
I can't find words to really express the feeling
Have you ever seen something so unique and precious
So unique that you don't wanna remake it because you may ruin what's was once precious
She's like a poem I wrote that came close to her perfection
And in my fear that it actually could have measured up I never reread it

That's how much I think of you,
I look into your eyes and it's as if I'm staring at the blue
Ocean blue, sky blue, to me blue is beautiful and cool
So ny inability to function right when I
speak to you, its all because of you
Yet I know many have seen that sight,
Many have made their feelings for you,
Maybe, I maybe another letter on the pile of many others only seeking a view
But if you do get to read me know that this was specially written for you,
Letter no. 22

A lovely read and I liked the way you ended with the title...To be compared to the Mona Lisa ...there is nothing better then that...Perfect, complicated and simple...a nice blend...Rose:)
