MY FIRSTA Poem by Aziz LutherPeople seem to always ask about my first
My first,
Stood out in a large crowd, She was the color of me dark skin light brown, All the boys watched as she spun around, She stopped and pointed at me and everybody went wow So what now I went towards her and asked for 7 minutes of heaven We were too old to play forth grade games She was way out of my league so I dared to pretend First kiss and it was never ever the same My first kiss, Tasted like s**t, But got better with time as I perfected the skill She looked at me, "you look younger than you feel" I told her being next to me feels like time didn't exist My first, Took me on a trip, Made me feel special, my sorrows she lift, I was addicted to her buzz, its good she made me feel Though we were going downhill, still, I enjoyed the feel My first, Would probably be my last, Would probably a mistake I'd prefer to be my past, But she's the one who showed me that a kiss could last Even when the feelings are hurt and reality burns to ash © 2013 Aziz LutherAuthor's Note
