Untittled 2A Poem by Aziz Luther
Wild flower look fresh staring at the ocean
Waving at the sailor but with caution Behind her is a city that is foreign The city watches from behind and don't see the faucets Flowing, I call she ignores me She's more worried about today than yesterday's city stories She longs for the sailor who thru the world keeps touring He watches the sun and the sea He sees not who's in the shore saw him Or sees what he sees Coz he sees the land and she sees the sea She sees the man, the man sees the C That being the city behind her that brings her grief But the sailor hasn't seen land so long that he's relieved To be, where the sand is, the beautiful palm trees She only wants to get away and see the sea As she stares at the waves and waves at me As a sailor who's to take her from confinement of land © 2013 Aziz LutherAuthor's Note
