The Many me I see

The Many me I see

A Poem by Aziz Luther

I see me on the streets and me as a King
Me counting my blessings and me trying to spend them
Me on the top and me holding on the edge losing grip
Me as a failure me as a success

I'm the only one I see
This is planet me
Grey skies though dark within

Me in front, behind and between
Me on the end it was me to begin
Me the kind soul and me the mean

Me me me you, I don't see
Selfishly, yeah maybe
But we are selfish beings

We play and pretend to see
What they live without so we can give
But we don't see what they really need
We put bandaids while inner bleeds

We see what we want to solve
Not the problems we gotta fix
We cover the problem with spices
Hoping to make them sneeze

Our own souls we please
And none we leave at ease
I'm guilty of a lot of these crimes
Solved problems for ones in need
While I kept my true form on the shortest leash

Our words define who we are. We each travel our own paths, taking trips to faraway places, or trips within our imaginations. This is a magnificent poem, filled with powerful phrases that describes us persons. Well done, faultless.
