Head over hills and Freeze

Head over hills and Freeze

A Poem by Aziz Luther

I'm into you Jay,
I'm into you in ways can't explain,
I watch you at the bus stop 6 o'clock everyday,
I was worried you wouldn't show today,

I could ask for your name all I got was letter J,
The courage to approach you I don't have in my veins,
In my nerdiness let me explain
You're like an opera the moment the glass breaks

You are a star which the sun seems to hate
Because I only get to see you in winter days
And summer nights I've seen you walk by my place
I took a few pictures as for my art exhibit

My tongue too heavy to speak
My heart too heavy to hold my speech
I smile and stutter as I try to make up words
You, hi today beautiful world
I can't even get it out clearly broken words

I look at you and can only say wow!
And when you look towards me and away I only say aww
Hurt lil p***y before I speak the bus is here
Last day until next year, hope to see you next winter

The character in the poem explains how fear of rejection freezes the character from going up to the person that the character is attracted to and settles for continuos admiration.
