The first Dance I passed

The first Dance I passed

A Poem by Aziz Luther
"

I wish I could remember why I wrote this but enjoy anyway

"
Seeking a friend for tomorrow's dance
Anita can't go Mary said she'll pass
Lisa got a braniac excuse she gotta be in class
Now its only between Clarissa or her sister
Good friends of mine not my love interest
But a question like that can be mistaken for an approach
And that may change how I see u forever if it ever goes wrong
And then it may end with me writing a fateful song
That it coulda been but never was
Now all I feel is remorse and a lil exposed
I've just blown up an idea of a dance to a game of taking a chance
Coz I seen the looks u give me a question may completely hook u and then I lose u
With the answer I give u or bigger picture hurt u when it don't work
So I snooze when its time to wake up for the dance
And just plan for a trip to south of France.
OF THINGS TO COME
