Frozen

Frozen

A Poem by A.M. Everlasting
"

Twilight poem: Bella's transformation. Short and simple.

"

Blush no longer on her face,

Clumsiness replaced by grace.

Eyes of brown to evil red,

Quickly then to gold instead.

Body hardened into stone,

Voice a lovely melodic tone.

Skin glazed over with sparkled sheen,

Forever frozen at eighteen.

I like it as well. :)

The short lines really picked up the pace of the poem, as did your AABB rhyme scheme. I particularly liked the last line "forever frozen at nineteen"; not only does "frozen" imply that she won't grow anymore, but it's kind of "pun"-ny in that it implies that her skin is cold. (Don't know if you intended that or not, but I found it amusing. :D)

Overall, well done!

She's frozen at eighteen, her nineteenth birthday would have been the 3rd of September but she changes on the 2nd. They celebrate her 'birthday' as an excuse for Alice and Esme to give them the cottage.
Except for that one fact, a very good poem.
