You Were Loved

You Were Loved

A Poem by A.M. Everlasting
"

In memoriam to a heart we'll never know.

"
You were loved, you know.
I’d have loved to see you grow.
A whole world was waiting,
Praying you would show.

You were a beam of light
To end an endless night,
A brand new chapter in life,
All the wrongs made right.

Your mother will dream of you;
Your father will miss you too.
The life you could have had
Their new start overdue.

You should have been November,
A bright and flickering ember,
But now this loss is all
That we’ll have to remember.

You were loved as you will be
In Heaven above eternally.
We’ll miss you here, little one.
We’ll always be your family.
