A Poem by A.M. Everlasting
"

Piece #2 of my Disney-Inspired Collection.

"
Can he feel her love tonight?
A childhood love reborn?
A peaceful, reminiscent sight
To soar a heart forlorn.

Shadows covered up the king
The king she saw inside
Why did he hold back anything?
What did he have to hide?

A child burning with passion,
Who claimed he couldn’t wait,
Had turned into this ashen
Smoldering secret full of hate.

But she could see the father
Still living in the son.
How to make him bother
To see that they were one?

How to make him see the pride
Instead of suffering?
The truth he still had yet to find
To take his place as King.

Can she feel his love tonight,
His love for all she's done?
She helped him find himself again
And see that they were one.
