Rain Cloud

Rain Cloud

A Poem by Lauren Beth

A rain cloud follows…

Can’t shake it.

Dampens, darkens my everyday.

That question, the worry…

Consumes the mind.

Thoughts like fog.

Not really living

Floating through the daily grind,

Trying to ignore the thunder

Deep inside.

Now that is something I relate too and know how you feel... seems like when a little sunshine enters the mind life finds a way to cloud up and rain on your emotions... Short but emotionally to the point.

I like how you compare whats bothering you to a rain cloud, very creative. It flows and is written well. Great piece. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoy writing poetry, usually just what comes to me. I write for me, it's like just something that I need to get out. Whatever hits me at the moment I start jotting down, on sticky notes, napkins.... more..
