Run Away

 

 

 

I feel like running away

Would any of you even notice or care?

My words mean nothing, my emotions

Ignored.

 

No respect or concern comes my way

Just walk over me, or better yet on me,

Crush my heart.

 

Maybe it’d be best for me to just drift away

Into nothing, for I already feel I’m there,

Nowhere.

 

More of a bother to all then anything

You are my life, my world, my everything

I wish to be that for someone,

Something.

But hey, don't drift away! If someone makes you feel like that, not only let them know, but make them regret ignoring you! :) Make them realize how much you DO mean to them.

I think you hit things right on the spot for me too.. I agree with Rock N Roll Cowboy.. as it goes the nice guy always seems to finish last..put your efforts into the people closest to you that "do" care such as a partner.. best friend... children.. etc.. people only think about themselves sometimes and we can even be ladders or doormats if we allow ourselves to be.. just don't be those things!!!

I know I feel this way sometimes... when you have a big heart you tend to get neglected cause people take advantage of knowing you'll be there... I feel for you for I too know this pain in the powerful words you write.

people are selfish. people suck. the only person who's ever going to truly be unselfish towards you, and you to them, is the person you end up marrying, and they are all you need. So i guess the reason why all these ignorant jerks exist in the world is to show you how good your eventual love will be.
