The cactus guy has died

The cactus guy has died

A Story by Adriancito Lupus Centeno
"

Just an experience with some feelings, there is no love but perhaps a couple of tears

"
Was my mother who had noticed you were missed. This morning, she spoke to me in a pretty shy way.  Suddenly I felt how a bad sensation was surrounded me.  I looked toward to your place, damn!    Where did you go?

Holding to my warm hopes, I could see your body over the garden's grass.  It was the end of the good old times, almost twenty beautiful years when you do nothing more besides dreaming of touching one million stars.

Wonderful cactus, you got a hero's death, like if you were a brave soldier falling off a horse.  Just nature forces can win the battle against your body made from iron.  F*****g storm ¡  Why did you do it? you took the king of my isolated garden away.

What a terrible place will be my world without you.  My heart is going to be a grave from here to the eternity. Please, if you are in the heaven; be happy and wait for me, because once: I will be strong and huge like an old cactus.

So sad and bittersweet. It is very difficult to lose someone you love and respect making time move at a snails pace, but it will get better. Cherish the memories and remember always the lessons you may have learned from knowing them. I loved your story.

I think the loss of something that has been part of our life for a very long time deserves to be grieved....it is like something that even though not human or animal, it feels like it has stood watch and guarded our lives with love because we could always count on it being there...excellent story with great feeling

I have to say something about myself but before I must spend some time in front of the mirror. Only after this, probably I can take the courage of recognizing that there is nothing more, just a poor d.. more..
