2009

2009 reasons … or more

Would have done the trick just fine

Out of compulsion, I stayed, unable to resist reading a line

 

Thousand horses would never be able to drag me a way from here

Hundreds even would have struggled, pulling me away from the Café’s counter

Over and over again, I did try staying away

Utterly impossible, it seems

So here I am

Again, still hanging in over more than a year

Now after all that time

Dozens of poems

 

And some of them do not even rhyme

Never did it stop me to read or write

Dozens of poems

 

New ones coming up every day

In my mail, I do cherish

Now, even at moments I lack the time to read

Endless, timeless poems, written by friends of mine

I'm feeling you with this one. I haven't been hang out at the Cafe too much and I missed a lot. So I'm trying to read as much as i can and try and get back in the swing of things. You expressed this addiction to this place very well.
