Polyglot ...

Ja, omdat Duits net Nederlands is ...

Only spoken in a more staccato way

Making sure we have a conscience

On aime pas toujours être confronté

Darum dass Ich diese Dichtung schreibe

Jammer genoeg niet in mijn moedertaal

Would I consider writing in German?

Vous avez déjà pouvoir constaté

Dass Ich diese Sprache liebe

Waarvan ik hou omwille van de literatuur

Yes I would, you can be sure

Would I consider writing in Dutch?

Un poème si doux et elaboré

Wie der Ring der Nibelungen

Ja, ik wil dat het lukt!

Yes
Oui
Ja
Ja

Does this make sense to you ...
I tried to write in such a way that even you only understand one of the languages I used, the lines still make some sense...

I'm English so - was fine with the first lines, almost understood the French, remembered a few German words from school, then - you lost me in the Dutch! However the poem's construction flows beautifully and is like an invitation to a global conference table. This is a very clever concept.

I'm going to read some more of your posts!

I like this idea very much...even if a person does not speak all of the languages it is fun to try to discern the meaning from clues and familiar word roots. I especially liked how you ended the poem with a question and then the many words for yes.

This is a beautiful expression of languages. Even though I will have to ask Gandre' to help interpret this piece completely I am deeply touched by what I understood. I am intrigued with other launguages even more after reading this amazing piece. To be able to communicate worldwide in everyone's different launguages could change so many people's understanding and perspective. Very Nice! ~ Jude :-)

Hallo

} Be well.
LOL

Yes it makes sense although I have a limited knowledge of french and german. It emphasises to me at least that we English are lazy when it comes to learning languages
