Diagnosis Alzheimer’s ...

Every morning my boss attempts to wake me up by pushing a button, making me start up for the day ahead. Alas, today… bleep… I am just about to make it, then suddenly I am stuck for I … bleep … to start my friendly boss’s machine, thingy … I do not know what it is called.
This leaves my boss in a … bleep … state. His w… seems to depend upon me and he takes a look at my … blutton or whatever it is called. Today I suddenly seem to know very little of all the work the man put into me over the years.
And yet I have been such a faithful … pbleep…, always well kept too. For I am his pjight and loy, or something else, I really cannot seem to recall.
Well, the blutton thingy seems to work, my faithful owner seems pluzzed, for everything seemed to work perfectly as I went to sleep.
This morning, I do not know, I just cannot pelfrom or do thingies that I normally do autothingyly …
The man now loses his tempel with me (I hope I still get that light) I am losing it too.
What is wrong with me? Normally artef the blutton has been pushed, I … bleep… what to do. I hear the word ‘windows’ muttering in my ears, well my window thingy is always clear. Why cannot he see what he is meant to? What is rwong with me? He is the one who … bleeped … me, he should know!
Help!! I am losing it: he takes me al … bleep! All my prats … bleeped … on the table! Somebody!! He is trotruing me! Now I am all … bleeping… useless! The … bleep … what will happen to his flies?
He says it is o.k. but I flee k.o., while I am …blripped … of my bleepdisk! I want my hardthingy back, because the flies are in there! The stupid romon!
Now he tells me my hardthingy is fine. Why am I fleeing that I have frogotten everything I know?
Now, he has a go at my mummybleep! How dare he? She has got fleeings too! Then he usddenly tackles my probleepsor… What the fleep he thinks he is bleeping? My probleepsor sruvives the test as well!
Oh my God, what have I bleeped to deserve this dealor? I cannot memreber that I vree did thingysom wrong!!!
The final nodiagsis is that my mormery has all gone?
Blimey bleep, I have got Alzheimer’s, that I know, for I do not bleep … who … am … more … any…

Help!!!

Something we are all using here has lost its memory ... Most probably you are sitting in front of one now ... Does this make any sense to you?
No there is no picture, that would make things too easy!

NODIAGSIS! this reminded me of Super Tuesday (NOT) back in Feb when this happened and instead of a sort of gradual slide there was a sudden deafening silence followed by a sort of embrassed but manic whistling from system's bosses. Oooooo-er WHAT a day that was! I like the way the language becomes cleverly and humerously jumbled up here though. But... oooo I can still remember that day when the system had a devastating stroke!

Sounds like someone may not be up to date with anti-virus jabs and picked up an infection some where. Or maybe the memory bus has crashed. Could even be a bug got into the system...

I think this is an excellent piece of writing... love the dyslexic spelling of the words. The story reminds me of a lady who phoned me for some advice on a computer that kept crashing. We went through a list of instructions after which I told her to boot the machine. I heard a loud metallic thump over the phone, and a few seconds later she said, "It doesn't work at all now."

There are 10 types of people in this world... those who understand binary and those who don't...lol

It's gotta be a computer. lol. Mine's lost everything before. Messed up for almost an entire month! This is definately one of the most interesting pieces that I've read since I've been on this site! Wonderfully written!

I liked it, I liked the concept, but it was slightly confusing, which emphasizes the message being brought forth.

Perhaps, it is imaging it through the text itself, the letters are all a painting in itself.

Interesting, a few minor tweaks (perhaps, lengthen the story and give the whole thing a little more gradual effect).

A good piece.

I think you wrote it clear enough that I think most people would catch that it was a computer that lost it's memory. I love the way you wrote it slowly becoming more and more garbled.

Very entertaining! LOL

My computer is a huge source
of stress ...... which truly
is ridiculous I know. Argh.. so slow
sometimes... forgetful.... bad memory...
just all around annoying! But it's more
or less a love/hate relationship. Can't
live with it, but won't live without it. ... yeah.

I thoroughly enjoyed this!! :-D
I agree with J. James Reider -- wonderful imagination!
