Before entering this contest I had not heard of Dorothy Parker. (I am a non native speaker of English, living in Europe and my English Poetry professor entirely devoted his course to mainly British poets, apart from Sylvia Plath...) So this is like both a literary discovery and experiment at the same time for me!

"Sometimes
Vicious rhymes
Are as delicious
As the apple
In the garden of Eden"
These lines make the whole poem for me. I like the wordplay you use here, but I wonder how much better the poem would be if you could liberate yourself from rhyming words. It's really really hard to have an open, honest poem when a poet has to forfeit sincerity for a rhyming word.
