Lost in translation

About the pros and cons of writing in your native language. Browsing my PC, I just recovered some of my early poems, some are written as early as 1978, some are written in the nineties... I'm thinking of digitalizing more of my early works and translating

Of many a nation

 

Their poetry

Should be

An entry

 

To the world

Yet in English

Unwritten

The description of this sounded very interesting and the poem was even better. I would love to read this in different languages. A poem in different translations, or certain words in the poem in a different language could make for a very fun way of interpreting the meaning.

Beautiful. I have often wondered about the literature of other cultures as we see such a small percent translated for popular publication inthe U.S.

I really like this. I write a lot of poetry in French (although my native language is English) and I really appreciate how a new language lends itself to new double-meanings. Great job!
