By a dark veil

Keeping away

The dark snails

Of night

 

By a blanket

Warm and cosy

Friendly

Darkness

Is a cover

My nightly lover

 

In the morning

No more mourning

Cheerful cleansing

Showering

The dark snails

Of night

 

Away

 

Author's Note

Do not look for perfect stanzas or rhymes here. In ayurvedic medicine (India) people are advized to take a shower in the morning to wash away the darkness of night as a way of physical an psychological cleansing
