The night

 

The car broke

Down the dark lane

Dialling

911

No sound

Only blue flashing light

In the night

Friend or foe?

 

Coming closer

Damsel in distress

Just able to press

The car locks

The road blocks

Friend or foe?

 

Coming near

Blue flashing light

Ambulance

Looking

For…

Deer or doe?

 

The dear vet

Can he

See me

In this night

In blue flashing light

 

I’m saved by the vet

This night
