Very accurate and to the point, summarises the feeling of adoration in a precise manner. Love the suspense given been the lines - makes the reader wish to read more. A very taut concotion stated of a feeling presented in a very few words. Fluent, yet remarkable as to how this is very effective selection. Awesome.

You have an amazing talent of being able to say, in a few well-chosen words, what would take me pages to describe. In 23 words you have not only painted a picutre of a setting, but also the mood of the speaker, and made me think. The last part, the part where your art should make someone think, is something I have yet to master, and is the point of good art. I envy your talent.

Really good stuff! I love it. Takes you somewhere and then surprises you at the end with "Due to Adoration". I try to do some of the same little twists in my poems, too. That is one reason I love poetry, that it can accomplish those kinds of things in such a simple, brief way. Look forward to reading more of your work!

This brings to mind a fancy party full of all kinds of minds, some shallow...some capable of hidden depth all shrowded by bright smiles for the sake of keeping polite company. I liked the mocktail line, that's probably what put the image in my mind. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for...hmm.
