Big words

Big words

A Poem by alternative_be

Today I need big words
Please, give me big words,

Because my day is not black,
Nor is it white

Most of the time,
It tends to be gray
Wait, I do not even mean just gray

For there is pitch black, magpie black and charcoal black
Like there are snow white, eggshell white and dirty white

There is gray and then there is gray
Light gray and dark gray

Bring on those grayscale shades
I need all shades of gray
Just to paint one day

I need those big words
Not just shades of white, black and gray.
