Bridge of Life

 

Here I am

Standing on this bridge trembling

Beneath it a big dark ocean where I could drawn

Afraid to fall but you’re here with me holding my hand

We’re walking on the bridge together hoping to reach its end

 

That’s why I need you, to walk with me this bridge of life

It’s why I need you, to feel your consolation

That’s why without you, I’d be lost in this dark ocean

It’s why without you, my soul would lose its air

 

Still on the bridge

Years have passed and we’re still together

One thing has changed, my legs can’t move so I’m crawling instead

I see you there infront of me walking while I’m there trying to call out your name

Turn around and come back to me to heal my broken legs

And teach me how to walk again so we could walk together until the end

 

That’s why I need you, to walk with me this bridge of life

It’s why I need you, to feel your consolation

That’s why without you, I’d be lost in this dark ocean

It’s why without you, my soul would lose its air

Dramatic presentation that we all share. For life is a crumbling bridge as we with broken bodies and a weight of sin teeter towards destruction. "If we in our own strength confide our striving would be losing. If not the right one our side the one of God's own choosing."
